My panel went totally dead after about two weeks, this is after my Bosch hood also had an issue. Support is sending technicians but things are backordered and it is weeks to get them out here. So dissapointed and frustrated with Bosch

Due to a manufactures recall, we had to wait an addional 6 wks to recv our unit. Installation went smoothly, cabinet front fit beautifuly. We were disappointed with having to access the Internet to register our unit and receive usage instructions.
I am not a fan of how flatware loading is performed, nor do I like wine glass loading suggestion. After spending time actually registering the warranty we read the instructions. Concerned w having dishes not dry until we adjusted certain drying levels. Think the instructions are rather hard to understand. 3+ hours to wash & dry a load of dishes with sanitizer and crystal dry was disappointing. All in all, we have learned to operate our dishwasher to satisfy our needs.

My first Bosch dishwasher and I'm really impressed. This unit was designed perfectly for stemware with excellent capacity for large pots. Drying is an absolute dream where I never need to wipe down clean dishes that use to have standing water. Looking forward to adding another Bosch dishwasher soon!

I love this new dishwasher - super quiet, options for quick cycles and dishes are actually clean! The Cove model we had before would regularly leave food on the dishes. The floor has a lighted area telling you what part of the cycle it is in and how much longer to finish the cycle. LOVE that.

My new dishwasher gets my dishes incredibly clean. Where I live the water is very hard, so the water softening capability that this dish washer comes with goes a long way and towards making it more functional than any I've had before. It basically cleans my water before the water cleans the dishes. It does mean one more thing to restock the dishwasher with, but it is totally worth it and I don't have to do it very often. I was skeptical of the three rack arrangement at first, but after living with it for 2 months, I absolutely love it. The only thing that I would change is I would make the buttons on the dishwasher top respond faster to inputs. When you press the button, any button, it just takes longer than you think it should to respond. I would have preferred physical buttons; it would give it a even higher and feel and I feel like it would be more responsive as well. That said, I have no regrets about this purchase. It is, quite easily, the best dishwasher I've ever owned

We have had our dishwasher for a couple months now. I must say it is the quietest dishwasher we've ever had. I love the top tray for larger spoons and extra silverware. The light inside is a game changer. It's so easy to load after dinner when the light comes on. I enjoy seeing the blue light showing how much longer it has to run. The main thing is our dishes come out very clean and dry. Since there is only two of us we seem to use the 1:20 length for the dishes. We are very pleased with our Bosch dish washer.

The designers seem to have chosen style over functionality. It is quiet, I'll give it that, a good feature. But it is not easy to use.
1. No tactile or audible feedback when pressing a button.
2. The bottom basket was not properly adjusted (rollers off the track) and it still comes off the track.
3. No indication that it's running. The floor light is blocked by the apron. Needs fixing.
4. Dishes are generally not dry, we're still trying different settings.
5. The silverware basket doesn't fit some of our knives and forks. The old Bosch was better.
6. You never really know it it is going to start until after listening carefully after 5 minutes.
7. Give us back the lights and audible and tactile feedback.
I want my old one back.

This is the best and most quiet dishwasher we have ever owned.

This is our second Bosch dishwasher. The first one lasted over 15 years. Our new one is even more quiet than our last one so you hardly know it's on. Another upgrade is the light when you open it and the separate rack for silverware. Does a fabulous job cleaning all the dishes pans and silverware. I highly recommend this product

Door hinge broke immediately after warranty expired. Bosch seems to be unable to get parts to fix it, or just never calls me back. 3rd party repair can't seem to find the right parts online due to disparities between different SHV9PCM3N models. Yes, different dishwashers use the same model number. Very disappointed, won't ever be buying Bosch again.

We love our new dishwasher. After waiting 15 years to remodel our kitchen and several *lesser* models later we couldn't be happier with our Bosch. We actually went with a paneled option and went off brand from the rest of our appliances because of the Bosch reputation. It's such an upgrade from our previous dishwasher. The special features are great. It's so quiet. We cannot even tell when it is running. The phone notifications have been helpful reminders when the cycle is complete. It fits seamlessly in our kitchen and we couldn't be happier.

Our previous Bosch dishwasher lasted from 2008-2025! We felt confident that the newest model (top of the line) would be a reliable replacement. Oops. Only 16 months after installation we experienced two loud "bang/pops" from the device and then the door became heavy when openning. A quick internet search revealed that it was not uncommon to have a failure of the spring/string that allows the door to open in a controlled and safe manner. So, I order replacement parts only to find out that it was not the "spring/string" that failed, but the molded plastic pivot point. This seems like a poor design. This is not something that appears repairable. I am awaiting a response from Bosch with recommendations as it is now over 1-year since purchase (no more warranty).

My new dishwasher replaced an older Benchmark series Bosch dishwasher. All aspects of cleaning are superb. Thankfully the custom panel from the old model fit on the new model without any need for modifications. The only problem I have with the new dishwasher is the illuminated display that shines on the floor showing minutes left in the cycle. The flexible baffle becomes displaced when the dishwasher is opened and the material shifts, moving the cut out hole through which the light should shine to the floor.

This panel dishwasher easily replaced my previous unit. The fit, form and function are exceptional. No issues and cleaning performance is absolutely amazing. I've been a Bosch dishwasher customer for a long time. I bought this cabinet-ready unit with high hopes, but after running it for two days the LCD floor display stopped working. The tech the installer sent to look at it told me the only way to fix it permanently was to rip out the rubber gasket. Utter absurdity.

I have had so much trouble with this dishwasher. Not draining, not starting, and having to download an app to figure out what may be the problem. I would never buy this brand again. I started with a lesser model and upgraded because I thought maybe higher end won't have problems. Buy a kitchen side and get a reliable appliance.

For the top of the line model, we shouldn't be dealing with continual errors and system lockups requiring us to cycle the breaker to reset this machine. At least 2-3 times a week since we've got it the entire display will come on, get stuck, and then hopefully reset itself. Sometimes it doesn't and we have to "reboot" our dishwasher.
It's not even that "smart."
Working to get warranty service now. Still waiting.

The Bosch Panel ready Benchmark series of dishwasher is the an exceptional well designed and built appliance. I installed the panel and machine without any issues. The Bosch app enable setup and customization of the machine intuitive and again very straightforward. The quality of the wash cycles have been exceptional, with none of the washing or drying type issues we historically encountered.
This appliance is an exceptional and welcomed addition, that left me pleasantly surprised, as form, fit and function work together flawlessly.

Our old dishwasher just needed to go but I needed a new one that I could put the cabinet front on. This was the one I found and not until installed did I realize all the bonus perks it came with. It is so quiet, you wouldn't know it was running if it weren't for the neat little light that shines on the floor, showing the time left to run. The light inside is another perk I didn't know I would enjoy so much. You can actually see those items that always disappeared in my older dishwasher. I expected to be pleased with the purchase but this is more, so much more. One still has to unload the dishes but they are clean, dry, and ready to be put in the cabinet and drawers. No having to rewash, dry. Just all good to go!

The machine is a solid performer in every category related to cleaning dishes. Egg cups with bits of cooked egg come out clean every time, and oily pans with fried marks are spotless.
9.5/10 would buy again.
That said, I have a number of annoying user interface issues that, if fixed, would greatly improve my daily experience.
1) when opening the door during a wash cycle, I have to press "start" to get the cleaning cycle to resume. 99.99% of the time, this is what I want. Changing the behavior to automatically resume would beat huge improvement.
2) having features like delayed start only available in the app is annoying and unnecessary
3) when the cycle is done, the floor display (have the benchmark) should indicate this is the case until someone opens the door. Right now you have to open the door in order to determine if the cycle finished.
And the spring on the door is too strong and makes opening it to load a bit awkward. There is apparently no adjustment for this.

This machine does not dry very well regardless of the cycle, I have to hand dry most of my dishes after the cycle is over. I even allow it to sit closed for an hour to let it stay warm but it doesn't dry well.

This dishwasher is great: quiet, cleans well, drys well. The racking and silverware are not as good as my old dishwasher. The top silverware rack has to be loaded each piece individually to slot them. It takes time. It also limits the amout of space vertically. It is hard to wash pots, sheet pans, tall glasses, food storage containers, etc. I would get one without the upper rack and stick to good old silverware baskets.

Cleans well. Crystal Dry feature is good, not great. Floor display broke and we had to get a replacement unit. Floor display malfunctioining again on second unit and service tech is scheduled for later this week. The floor display mechanism/design is cheap and not well thought out. Overall OK but expected more from a Bosch disshwasher at this price point.

Worked for exactly 12months. Drain clogging, stopping mid cycle, soap smeared vessels, disconnecting WiFi, door out of hinge, buttons unresponsive, the list is endless. Bosch service is more expensive than Bosch itself. You need to wait tho, without your $2000+ dishwasher. Oh by the way it worked for 12months and you are out of warranty. I am tired and frustrated with this piece of junk box

The dishwasher works as as dishwasher should. It's really quiet, cleans very good and the Crystal dry works great to get even the plastics dry. Saw lots of complaints about rack layout but in my experience those are over blown. The racks workout well for all of our dishes.

We love the time-left feature! We renovated our kitchen which required a panel-ready dishwasher. We already had a Bosch and this one did not disappoint. It's even quieter than our previous one. At 39dB, sometimes it's hard to identify that it's running.
Overall, this is a great buy. The only thing that's different from our previous Bosch is the silverware basket. It's much smaller in this version. We prefer the bigger one. Outside of that, there are no complaints. We recommend wholeheartedly!

There are very many positive things to say about this dishwasher – it is very quiet, it's very efficient, and it cleans thoroughly. I just have one issue, but it has nothing to do with the dishwasher more to do with me. Trying to understand the electronics, app, and how to program is a challenge for someone who is not computer savvy. Since there is no written directions and one must get directions online, that's another pain in the neck. But I am sure that a younger, computer savvy person will fall in love totally with this dishwasher.

We are so happy with our new Bosch dishwasher! It is so quiet, you can barely hear it even standing in front of it. And the shelves and stacking areas are really flexible and all dishes and utensils fit easily. Unlike the last 2 dishwashers we had which were very awkward. We paid more for this dishwasher but in my opinion it was worth every penny for a dishwasher that won't constantly need repairs and/or replacement within a few years. Love our new Bosch panel-ready dishwasher!

If you do an online search you will undoubtedly be overwhelmed with results telling you that Bosch dishwashers are the ones to get. This one is their top one and it does not disappoint.
I've used many Bosch dishwashers over the years, some 300', 500's, now we have an 800 and a benchmark. Every single one of them was flawless and cleaned our dishes perfectly every time.
They'll be great out of the box, but if you take the time to read the manual and go into the setup menus for water hardness, water temp, rinse aid settings, and other items, you can really make it (somehow) even better.
We have the 3 layer setup with the lay-flat cutlery on top, top rack, and bottom rack. We were able to adjust each shelf slightly to make it fit our dishes perfectly, and we have the silverware holders to ensure that our cutlery comes out tarnish and spot free, yea this is possible to wash your actual silverware directly in your dishwasher and have it stay clean!
Hands down the best. Make sure you fill the salt compartment for the best clean.

This is my first Bosch appliance and I could not be more pleased with the performance of this dishwasher. The first time we ran it we had to really listen hard to hear if it was running. If it wasn't for the "gurgle" in the sink drain we would not have been able to tell it was on. After the first wash, my glasses which had hard water deposits from my previous washer were sparkling clean! So many choices for cycles I can't wait to explore them all. My only complaint is that it takes a lot of dirty dishes to fill it up enough to justify running it! :)

The cutlery drops out of top shelf when you close the door. You can't manually set it to run at a later start time. If you use the app to program a late start time and then someone opens dishwasher to add a dish, the cycle does not run. Prefer the less expensive model I had.

The dishwasher cleans well, is quiet, and offers plenty of features. However, within about 1 year of use, the plastic pivot pins for the door spring mechanism break. This part is not serviceable for the customer. The service technician uses a replacement cam/pivot unit; however, this part is sometimes unavailable due to the high frequency of this issue. The Customer Service and Bosch/Thermador Technical Service departments did not appear to communicate effectively for my issue. It took over 6 months to get a replacement unit. The new unit has the same design, so I expect the same problem within a year. Overall, the only flaw is the entirely plastic base. For their flagship model, this isn't the place to cut costs.

Had a different Bosch for 12 years and decided to get a new one. So many choices but the custom door caught out eye. Washing is amazing and it is ultra quiet, preferable since our home is also that way. Had a small issue with the floor display light but Bosch stepped up to the plate and hit a homerun on the first swing of the bat.
