After loving our Thermador refrigerator freezer in our previous home, we purchased this unit in our new home. It is beautiful finish with nice space without being a buit in.
The bad part, bottom freezer is totally awful. Gets stuck, gets mis-aligned, gets frozen and can't open the drawer and does not freeze well at all. If you are not careful, door can stay slightly cracked open without triggering the super quiet alarm that no one can hear and it will defrost. I would not recommend

I have been very impressed with the Bosch 800 Series refrigerator, particularly in terms of overall quality, interior lighting, and ease of installation. The refrigerator feels extremely well built, with a premium fit and finish that gives the kitchen a high-end look without requiring the complexity of a true built-in unit. One of my favorite features is the excellent LED lighting throughout the interior, which makes it easy to see and organize food, even in the back corners and drawers. I also found the installation process relatively straightforward for a counter-depth refrigerator, and the unit fits very cleanly with surrounding cabinetry. The dual-compressor system keeps temperatures consistent while operating very quietly, which further reinforces the sense of quality. While the black stainless finish can occasionally show fingerprints or small marks, overall I feel the refrigerator delivers an outstanding combination of design, functionality, and premium performance.

I love the look of this fridge but it has some serious design flaws that have ruined the bottom of my brand new kitchen cabinets.
I purchased this fridge and instantly the water dispenser inside leaked. The problem is it doesn't always leak instantly after filling up your glass and may be a minute later once the fridge is closed so water would pour out and end up coming out the bottom/under the fridge and ruining my cabinet. We've had a repair guy under warranty come out 7 times to fix it within the first 6 months, always ordering a new part or trying some else. Nothing worked so Bosch said our fridge was faulty and sent a new one (thinking yay this is great). Nope new fridge does the exact same thing. So now we own a brand new $4k fridge that I cannot even use the water dispenser and have water damage on my cabinets.

We love our Bosch appliances! Our first was a dishwasher many years ago and it required a single part replacement after 10 years and it is amazing still. We recently purchased this Bosch 800 Series black French door counter depth refrigerator to replace two others from the past 11 years. It is extremely spacious, has an amazing finish that resists fingerprints, it is so quiet, has as very spacious and organized freezer section, the interior drawers seal and are temperature controlled, and a very spacious ice maker in the freezer. We will always buy Bosch whenever possible, they are the best!

The Bosch B36CT80SNB absolutely nails the "premium counter-depth" category, and for me it's a rare no-regrets 5/5.
The standout: the black finish and surface
The black stainless color is gorgeous in person-modern, understated, and it makes the kitchen look instantly more expensive. The surface is excellent too: it feels high-end to the touch, looks clean, and doesn't give off that cheap "painted metal" vibe some black finishes have.
Daily use
It's sleek. Counter-depth + no external dispenser keeps the front looking clean and built-in.
It's refined. Everything-from the doors to the interior lighting-feels engineered, not flimsy.
It's the kind of fridge you notice in a good way every time you walk into the kitchen.
Bottom line

I just remodeled my kitchen and got all Bosch appliances in black stainless steel. This refrigerator is a major upgrade from my last one. I love the functionality of it; all of the zones and setting keep food fresh much longer than my previous one. The ice maker is THE BOMB. I love the smaller rounded ice it makes AND that it makes so much ice with a big bin. Previous refrigerator had the ice in the door and the bin was so small, it could not keep up so we had to use a countertop icemaker to supplement. The water spout is inside the door so the front is beautiful, sleek and very easy to keep clean compared to traditional stainless steel.

There are a couple of things that I don't love. 1. ice bucket is too large, takes up too much room. 2. large pull out drawer in refrigerator has to be pulled out with 2 hands spread apart. 3. The 2 veggie,fruit drawers do not close all the way unless you really push hard. 4. Would rather have a larger freezer area and less room in refrigerator.

I purchased this refrigerator and from the time it was set up and plugged in, the freezer started icing. The worst part of this is that Bosch was not diligent in its responses to me about repair of the refrigerator. Seven months later I was told that there is nothing they can do. I never thought that Bosch would not try to remedy my situation so here I am almost five thousand dollars later with a defective refrigerator. I will never buy another Bosch product again.

I was hestitant to purchase this refrigerator at first as some people give Bosch negative reviews. I totally disagree! This refrigerator is the best one I have ever owned. Love the matte black stainless steel color - more of a dark charcoal instead of a harsh cold black, which I am pleased about. And it doesn't show any fingerprints! The bright and clean lighting inside is gorgeous. It is plenty spacious. The ice maker has been working properly (and am hoping it doesn't ever die as this component is usually the first to go). Only a few cons: The wide plastic drawer is hard to open with one hand; it needs two hands to open it up (feels a little cheap). Wish the frig had recessed hinges so it could scoot back more into the cabinet area, so it would look more built-in. Some pictures show it looking completely built-in, but in reality, that's not how it looks. It has to be pulled out more in order for the doors to open all the way up. Because of this, you can see about an inch of the 'box' (this was another reason I chose the black SS - the box sides are also charcoal and match the doors. With the regular stainless steel, the box/sides are white so they don't match the stainless steel color at all - so be aware! The fact that it needs to show an inch means Bosch should have made the box sides to match the doors.)

Very nice looking unit, without all the unnecessary electronics disrupting the style. The user manual could be more in depth as far as using the interior fixtures as well as what to look out for when assembling various parts. Door hinges should be a little more stiff, that is they open too easily and could cause damage if not extremely cautious also I would think they should be self closing from a certain point considering the cost of the unit. Otherwise too early to give a complete review.

The refrigerator is aesthetically nice. I enjoy that there is an app to give me notifications. The big drawer in the refrigerator seems to be extremely flimsy and it's hard to open and close. I also noticed that on a daily basis when entering the fridge, the door always remains open on the right side and I have to get back up to go securely close it.

I purchased all 800 series black stainless steel appliances and am VERY unhappy with the refrigerator. It NEVER closes properly! It's such a pain. Also, during delivery, the doors were damyanf I waited almost a full year to receive their replacement. Big mistake!!! Now the doors that I received are far from fingerprint resistant. For $3500, I should not have to be completely unsatisfied with this purchase.

I bought the Bosch 800 refrigerator, because I had the Bosch 800 dishwasher, which I love! The refrigerator is "counter depth", which means not as deep as my old fridge, but I like this, because it is easier to see what is inside the fridge. It is also taller than my old fridge, so you may want to measure twice to make sure it fits in your space. The drinking water dispenser is on the inside, so you don't get dripping on the floor or down the front of the fridge. It is much sleeker and more modern-looking than my old one. Also, the fruits and vegetables stay fresher and crisper longer than in my old fridge. You can connect the fridge to an app on your phone, and it will tell you if the ice dispenser is full or if you leave the door open. The only down side so far is that the left door bangs against my wall, so I put up a cork board and padded handles to soften the banging and avoid damage to the refrigerator handle and my wall.
