My original was 14 yrs old and really seemed fine. Just felt it was time. Unexpectedly the new one is even more motion stable AND providing a better nights sleep. (Also easier to move around on.) Love a Tempur-Pedicure mattress.

Disappointed in the lack of support around the edge of the support. My husband is 83 and found it hard to get in and out the bed. Never will buy a 3600.00 mattress again.

The Firm mattress turned to a marshmallow feel after 5 months. This was my 2nd Tempur-pedic mattress and the first lasted ~8 years. When I tried to submit a warranty claim I had lots of back-and-forth with A LOT of extra pictures being requested. I told the contact person that you can't see firmness, and she agreed, but asked for all the extra pictures none-the-less. After almost a month of this they declined my warranty claim stating there wasn't a dip so quality couldn't be determined as a defect. Again, you can't see firmness. Happy to send the bed back so you can lay on it. It's a lemon which makes me sad that the warranty process failed as my last bed was nice. Too expensive for this type of service.

Unfortunately, the ProAdapt medium failed to meet my expectations of the Tempur-pedic brand. I remember my mom having a Tempur-pedic years ago and the quality was superb. It had the right amount of softness without the sinking in feeling.
This mattress version causes my back to be unaligned and my midsection concaved. It's been over two months and I still do not look forward to sleeping on this mattress. I'm 5'3", 125lbs and if I'm experiencing this issue, I can't imagine someone with a larger physique feeling comfortable on this mattress. I wish I would've tried the mattress out first at a showroom then buying online. Now I'm stuck with this expensive mattress and trying to find a suitable topper to help me get a restful sleep.
Also, there are no handles on the side of the mattress. It's a struggle to lift it on your own on a lowered bedframe. There are some thin handles on the bottom side of the mattress, I don't understand why they couldn't put them on the side.

Had a standard mattress, then an adjustable mattress/bed, now have a ProAdapt Medium Hybrid adjustable mattress/bed. This is the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned. I used to wake up every morning with lower back pain. I've been getting a good nights sleep and now when I wake up, I feel rested and no more lower back pain. I highly recommend this mattress. I use the zero gravity with lumbar support every night before falling asleep. I find it to be relaxing. As of this writing, there isn't anything that I don't like about this bed.

Our new mattress was delivered on September 30, so we've only slept on it for four nights, yet we already love it! I wake up feeling refreshed for a change, and my husband says his back and hip are already feeling better! Thank you! Our puppy and cat love it too!

After about 3 weeks, the mattress has already softened so much that I feel like i'm sinking into a hole with my hips. when on my side and this puts my neck in a awkard position leaving me with a headache by mid-night and upon waking. It is more noticable each night. Also, feel like I will just roll off the bed due to no support in the outside edges of the mattress. It will likely be returned after the 30 day wait period.

Try buying a '30% Off' mattress and being told after you pay that they won't deliver to your state! If you live in New York -- and possibly other states as well -- that's what you get for your interest in the product. This should tell you all you need to know about the company. It's a bait-and-switch tactic. It's not their first attempt at fraud (found guilty in Germany, for instance). There are better beds - and more ethical companies to buy from.

One of my friends has a king power base and suggested to get a split king as she does not use the adjustable portion of the base very frequently due to two differing sleeping needs. I am very glad we decided to spend the extra money to get a split. I have had much better sleep and I attribute that to both the mattress and the ability to customize positions.
There is a definite break in period, but each day things seem to get better and better.

I was sleeping on an Aireloom for many many years, and almost bought a second aireloom mattress, But I can honestly say and also pleasantly surprised on just how pleased I am with my new tempurpedic Mattress, I think it's very comfortable, it's a bit lower then my last mattress, but the adjustable frame helps with that, I don't regret my decision, i actually think I am sleeping better too, it's only been a couple weeks I've had this mattress, but if you are looking for a new one, I don't think you would be disappointed with your tempurpedic choice, soft, medium or firm, The salesman told me I would most likely love it, and I would end by saying, He was right! It was well worth the $$$!

I've ever only bought mattresses that were a reasonable price. But this Tempur-Pedic is literally the best investment in the bedroom. It's changed the way I sleep and how long I actually get sleep. It's actually giving me some real sleep! Hands down the best. It can be a little expensive, but well worth the price.

I bought the mattress and two sheets later. I paid over $3,000 for the mattress and for the sheets I had a BOGO coupon so I went online and ordered two King size sheets. I paid $275 for the first sheet and then I was charged another $91 for the second sheet which I thought I should not have been charged because of the BOGO coupon. I called the service department several times and the people were very nice but they said that they could not stack promotions. This is very confusing and deceiving. You have now lost me as a customer.

This mattress is SO comfortable. It's somehow both incredibly soft and incredibly supportive. Delivery was also quick and easy, and they took away our old mattress and topper.
My husband has experienced pretty regular back pain for over a year, and after a few doctor's visits, physical therapy, muscle relaxers, massages, you name it, nothing made a huge difference UNTIL we upgraded our mattress on a whim. Immediate relief. We both sleep so well. It's been a few weeks and I still look forward to laying down every night because it's simply that good. Even the dog seems happier with it.
For reference, I am 5"6', my husband is 6"2' and we are very happy with the standard King.
Absolutely worth the money.

This bed and frame have been a game changer. The zero g before bed helps our circulation after sitting at a desk all day or traveling for work often. The medium firmness is the perfect level of support for two back and side sleepers. It's worth the price tag!

I was a little weary about getting the firm. I don't like that mattress's start out nice and firm and then get mushy after 6 months. So I decided that I needed to get a firm one to start. It's was hard like a board but still comfortable at first but now that it is broken in it is amazing! My body feels great in the morning with no stiffness in my back. The firm is really the way to go if you have back problems. Tempurpedic is the best mattress out there. It is well worth the investment.

It's my first Tempur-pedic mattress previously I was Sealy. This seems pretty comfortable for first two weeks takes a bit of getting used to, but it's super comfortable and very supportive. Reggie was very knowledgeable and patient while we selected our mattress.

+ Took about a month to notice any benefits of new mattress but back and shoulders do seem to ache as much.
- Sidewalls do not provide much support when sitting on the bed
- there is a noticeable difference on softness between her side of the bed and mine (after only a couple of months). Not sure what is causing this, but suspect split boxspring could be cause.

I have been debating about buying a new mattress for at least a year. I finally went into a showroom and decided to give it a try. The pro adapt hybrid felt the best to me. After a few days and knowing they offered a return option I figured it was worth a try. My hip pain is better and this mattress doesn't sag in the middle, where i sleep, even through there is plenty of space. Absolutely love it. Very comfortable and surprisingly no adjustment time necessary to a firmer mattress than i am used to. Well done Tempur-pedic!!

I didn't think I would like this at first. But after the first night, when I was able to get up in the morning with out pain in my back. It is a keeper.
It doesn't shake the whole bed when I turn over. It is set at a just the right height so I don't need a stool to get into bed.
My only problem is making the bed. The mattress is so heavy. I can barely move it.

We have owned this mattress for 6 years and it's always been uncomfortable but has gotten worse. We inquired it is no longer under warranty or we would have returned it. Dave your money and buy a different brand! Temperpedic used to be amazing our old mattress is in our guest room but the new versions are horrible.
We have been traveling for the last few months, slept on single, double and queen beds was excited to get home to our king but within 2 nights we are waking up tired, sore and unrested.

In 2009, immediately after having back fusion surgery we purchased our first tempur-pedic rhapsody firm. It was extremely comfortable and made my recovery much easier. In Nov 2025 I had my 3rd back fusion. We purchased a new tempur-pedic pro-adapt firm that was delivered the day before coming home from the hospital. The quality of their product is noticeably lacking. This mattress is breaking down less than 1 year after purchasing. The surface of the mattress is very slippery so the sheets do not stay in place. We still have the first tempur-pedic at our second home. I look forward to sleeping on the rhapsody whenever we stay there. The new pro-adapt just does not compare at all. Absolutely will not purchase another tempur-pedic mattress. Very disappointing experience!

The mattress is comfortable, supportive, non-disruptive, good thickness (so many mattresses are too thick for sheets to fit properly), and provides a great night sleep for both my husband and myself from the first night we slept on it. We had purchased a different mattress and tried it for 90 days. It was everything the tempedic pro adapt medium hybrid mattress is not (it was like sleeping on an air mattress with deep divots in it). We are thankful for the sleep guarantee at our local bedding store, and the expert mattress fitting we received when we went in for the replacement mattress. The only problem is we don't want to get out of bed in the morning!

This is my 3rd Tempur-Pedic mattress since 2006. I love the updates of this ProAdapt Medium Hybrid mattress since it has both foam and coils which gives you better support, particularly on the sides of the bed. It has taken me a bit to adjust to, however after about 2 months I am getting more used to the bed. I've given it a 4 Star bc of this. I'm sure that in another month or so, I will write another review with 5 Stars! The Tempur-Pedi Flagship store in Brownwood Square (in The Villages, FL ) Casey, Jeff and rest of her team, I give a 5 Star plus. I did have issues with the Ergo Pro King base, but that was resolved fairly quickly. The only thing that could be better is if the Remote would light up once you pick it up. :)
