I bought my refurbished artisan mixer two years ago and it has been absolutely fantastic. It arrived looking brand new and I have never had any issues with it at all! I use it multiple times a week.

I bought this for my daughter and she loves it. She bakes a lot of cookies for school activities, birthdays and holidays. She has always had to stir the dough by hand, as well as the frosting. Her decorated cookies are very detailed with her background in graphic design. Her children love to help her. When I gave her the mixer, my son-in-law was looking for other attachments from grinding meats, etc.

I haven™™t had a chance to use the item yet. The standard beater attachment seems a little dark, maybe oxidized from dishwasher use? Also, the color of the mixer is not like the pic. It is much darker, which is a disappointment. I can™™t speak to use, yet.

Been wanting a stand mixer for so long, was finally gifted one and in my dream color! Also love the size of this one, it™™s not too big that it takes up too much counter space and it™™s not too small for baking for a family of 4!

I had a Pro600 mixer for years and loved it until I lost it in a house flood. I decided to get the Artisan and I couldn't be happier. I love the Milkshake color! It's a gorgeous mix of gray and off white. I've been using the vegetable strainer to process tomatoes to make pasta sauce. The mixer makes this process a breeze!

Something mechanical is wrong

We seem to have a mechanical problem with our machine. It's making a clicking/grinding sound, and the head is wandering around (sometimes a lot more than others). The head wanders around an extreme amount when making bread or pasta dough. In the video attached video (excuse the mess, we just moved), we have some oat cake dough in the bowl, which is the consistency of chocolate chip cookie dough.

Refurbished. Arrived in authentic KitchenAid box. The mixer looks brand new. I have only used it once, and chose an old fashioned PoundCake recipe. No issue with operation. 4 star because the batter guard was missing, everything else you would expect was included. Looking forward to many years of service.

I purchased a refurbished 1 before and it was nice and clean no damaged, but i was able to return it to get this color however this one came scratched up and shows i cant return when it says ™not happy you can return for free no hassle ™

My package arrived two days ago and when I hope we it it had multiple indents, as if it were banged around. I love the color but it looks like it was beaten up before packaged to be sent to me. Very disappointed by the lack of customer support.

Just bought this for my wife and she has only used it 3 times to date but loves it. Unit looked brand new out of the box. Used it to blend hamburger, etc for stuffed peppers and she made bread in order to test the motor and everything worked flawlessly. She is a happy camper !

I have been eyeing this model for a long time and could not afford the high sticker price until I found out that KA sells refurbished units! I was pleasantly surprised that they even had attractive colors like Milkshake available. Not really sure what to expect, but reassured by the year warranty, I purchased this model last month and have been impressed with its design and capabilities so far. I™™ve only baked one cake so far, but everything appears to be in working order ™" I™™ve used the paddle and whisk attachments for a total of about 20 min and they whipped up the thick buttercream for this cake with no trouble. Fingers crossed that it continues to work like a dream as I try out more recipes!

My refurbished Artisan mixer was broken right out of the box. The motor squealed and grinned but it did not move. Then as I turned it off it grinned and squealed to a stop. It took two representatives to exchange it and even then the last representitive got a lot of my information wrong and is being sent to the wrong address. Then to add to the confusion the orders you make on the phone don't show up on your online account because those two ways of ordering do not share information even though you use all the same information. Now I do not have a way to track my return because that does not show on my account online. On top of that, Kitchen Aid ships the mixer in its original bright white box with red lettering...a perfect attraction for porch pirates.

I've had a 20+ yr old KSM90 in Onyx black which still works great but wanted a different look in the kitchen. Received this yesterday and whipped up a cake so far. I really can't see any blemishes or problems so far. I did have some concern because the speed control and locking levers moved so stiffly compared to my old model. Consulted the booklet that came with and it says "to lift slightly up as you move in either direction." That was worse! Actually I found that you push DOWN slightly to move the levers easily. Also, I consulted Kitchenaid's quickstart video here for doing the "dime test" as the flat paddle didn't seem to make much, if any contact with bottom of bowl. Turned the screw almost a complete half turn and now it's perfect. Thanks for the video KA!
Also, the "milkshake" color is sort of an off-white which does have a bit of a gray undertone.

I bought this on sale and with a coupon in a color I wanted that was available. I tested it and it seems to work. I haven't been able to use it for real yet though because my house is still being built. I wish the warranty were longer but fingers crossed that there are no problems with it.
