I purchased a new model, and just 4 moths later the whole thing gave out. All of the food I had was ruined and the company took 2 weeks to repair it. I am a single mother and this experience hurt my family. They did not offer any compensation but instead tried to sell my an extended warranty. Would not recommend this product or the manufacturer.

The refrigerator was overall good. We bought it from one of the big box home improvement stores and it was delivered to our ski condo the very next day. It's working great so far (just a few months in). The one grievance is that the light bulb in the freezer was missing and because we haven't been to the condo we weren't aware right away. The home improvement store wouldn't deal with it, and sent us to Figidaire, who seemed willing to deal with it, but made us jump through hoops to get it provided under warranty. Their support didn't speak fluent English and that created some communication challenges. We did receive the bulb and the warranty process was harder than it needed to be.

This refridgerator was purchased as a back up when our large refrigerator broke. It works great, was in stock, not too heavy to move with my husband and an appliance dolly, and the price was great. It froze and cooked down in the fridge part in a couple hours.

I recently began renting a new apartment and this appliance was installed, and it is stunning. It has a variety of features including the crisper drawers for fruits and vegetables (Which has forced me to eat healthier), the various cooling settings in the freezer, and the door are very spacious. I had scouted this product for about year before purchase. My 25 year old refrigerator had been showing signs of wearing out, when it suddenly started making noises that sounded like it was possessed. Even though this product has a budget price, it out performs my expectations. It cools very well and there is plenty of room in it. I am very pleased with this product.

Is this a decent refrigerator for the price? Yes. Is it missing some key essentials that I should have noticed when I ordered online in a hurry? Yes, also. This refrigerator is attractive, it works well and it fits the space as needed. Unfortunately, when a refrigerator goes out, it does so at the most inopportune times and, in an effort to get back to normal quickly, I rushed into this purchase. Just so you know, these are the drawbacks - 2 wire shelves. Not a deal breaker, but I am already sincerely worried that the top shelf is eventually going to give out as there is no middle support and even though I am putting all heavier items to the sides, it looks bowed after only 1 week. Also, this refrigerator sits extremely low to the floor which is not a problem for me, but is difficult for my 6' 2" husband. With only 2 drawers, I quickly realized I needed some organizers. And there is no butter tray. So my current little stick of butter has to hang out in door or on a shelf. I wish I would've taken the time (had the time) to go to an actual store and look. I may have noticed most of the things I missed. I just want others to be aware.
